Hello, again ha. so we all know that high end products are sometimes a little to expensive for our comfort zone, right? and we want the best products we can find, without spending a fortune. well to help you, i have got some high end products and given them some drug store dupes that i personally think matches up to the high end standard. i use most of these products on a regular basis, and give them all top scores for good quality!

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette

Revolution Redemption Palette Iconic
Okay, so first of all, i don`t honestly think £38 for an eyeshadow palette is exactly reasonable. Honestly, i love my Naked palette so much, but the price... not so much.not to fear, i have found a dupe! with exactly the same number of eyeshadow`s, it is by the brand Revolution, and this specific palette is called Redemption Palette Iconic 3. Revolution has 4 mattes, and Naked 3 has 3 mattes, leaving the rest all pigmented. many of the colors are very simular to eachother, for instance Strange (N3) and Mica (R2) are practically the same, you couldn't really tell any different. also the colors Nooner (N3) and Liquidum (R2) are so alike, and give wonderful pay off. (also, when i was swatching them to see if they looked the same, i rubbed them off, and the Revolution palette seemed to stay on much better than the Naked 3 palette.)

(left to right) The Pore-Fessional tester, Benefit & Baby Skin, Maybelline
The Pore-Fessional is one of my all time favorite Primers, hands down. however, i do really like Maybellines Baby Skin. it, quite obviously, gives you smooth baby skin, which really gives you a nice smooth, light base to work on. the only thing i don`t like about this product is that on it, it says "only for adults", like, what teenager doesn't want a baby soft face and once in a while wants to part with all the lumpy, rough spots? like come on, seriously? but at the end of the day its the product itself, not the packaging. overall i like baby skin, covers up pores (im sure if i had any visible), gives a smooth base to work on, and feels nice and light on it! the only difference i can tell between Baby Skin and The Pore-Fessional is that the Pore-Fessional gives has a tone to it, so if you really wanted to wear it by itself, you could because it gives the slightest coverage.
(left to right) Brow Drama, Maybelline & Gimme Brow, Benefit
so, if you don`t know what these products are, i will tell you that they are brow gels. i believe they make it so your eyebrows don't move around and go all un-even during the day. i find that the Maybelline one makes my eyebrows quite stiff, however does the job at the end of the day. the Gimme brow is a more subtle hold and you cant feel it as much as Brow Drama. Gimme brow has a smaller wand, which is good because it can defiantly give a sharp fill, however Brow Drama has a much bigger wand, making it quicker to comb through, however access gel tends to get on the skin if not careful. Overall if you want a high street brow gel that wont fail you, i recommend Brow Drama.

orange: Real Techniques Core Collection & Gold: Amazon cheapies
Lastly, brushes. i find it extreamly difficult not applying makeup without brushes, i even apply moisturizer with brushes (because base makeup applies on more flawless). when it comes to brushes you want the cheapest you can get for the best quality. i bought the Amazon ones with the gold and black, purely because i needed some new ones as my old ones were getting tatty. i found these, and they were extremely cheap compared to Real Techniques core collection. when they came in the i was more than happy with the quality! they were dense, and made from synthetic hair, and also really nice to hold, some brushes just dont cope with my long lanky hands haha. both brushes apply non streaky if they have been washed reguarly, the same for every brush really. highly reccomend the amazon brushes, i am very chuffed with them!
