Beauty Tips & Tricks

So, since im quite lazy(well,more than quite), i have been trying out a few beauty hacks the past couple of months. i did some research, tried them, and so i am going to show you my favorites! enjoy!

Hack 1: Eyeshadow Names
So this one i, i made this myself and though of it myself. 
you know those eyeshadows that have the colour names on a plastic sheet, when really they're really annoying because your in a rush, writing a blog post ect. well, heres the answer to that question!
  1. if you have room, cut the sheet, and place them under the eyeshadows.
  2. if you dont have room, cut it out, add some super glue and stick them too the back! this also prevents opening this when you know what the name is, and getting eyeshadow powder everywhere!



 Hack 2: Lipstick Setting
This trick has been floating around the internet, and i am happy to say it works! 
    1. apply your lipstick normaly!
    2. tear a peice of tissue/tissue paper in half.
    grab a brush, and a translucent powder (a stay matte powder will work fine)
    3. put the tissue on your lips and brush over the powder, voila! reduced kiss stains on mugs, no wet dewey lips, and looking flawless!


     Beauty Hack 3: Goodbye Stray Hairs
    this is another one i came up with. its super easy, as long as you have some concealer!

    1. grab your concealer, and dab on top or bottom eyebrow hairs.
    2. get a small brush ( you can use your finger, but brushes work better!)
    3. then dab around your hairs! but don't rub in or it will all sink in and wont make any difference whatsoever. 

    Hack 4: Natural Eyebrows
    This is a must know hack for all women & possibly men. its super easy and
    you can't go wrong!

    1. get an angled brush(the brush you use to shade your eyebrows)
    2. get your brow powder
    3. shade your eyebrows in THE DIRECTION YOUR HAIRS ARE GOING! any other direction, they wont look nice and natural!

    I Admit, I Love Benefit

    Very recently i have been all over Benefit cosmetics, and so far, they have not let me down! i will review the They're real mascara, The Pore-fessional, Benetint and Total Moisture Facial Cream! So lets get to it!

    They're Real Mascara
    This mascara is so good, the brush is big, (how i like them to be ;)), and the formula is so good! It dries really quickly and there is barely any noticeable clumps! my lashes look lovely and, in a way, "fake"!

    The Pore-fessional
    This is super good for minimizing my pores on my upper cheeks, nose, chin and around my t-zone. It also makes your skin really smooth, i know, point out the obvious, but it leaves my skin feeling flawless! 

    Benetint
    Benetint is a blusher in liquid form. it comes with a little brush in a tiny pot. i love this, it is so easy to apply, and looks great on! its much more easier than using a brush and a powdered blusher, even though it's completly different, applying Benetint is hassel free, and gives a lovely subtle look!

    Total Moisture Face Cream
    What this does is gives your face a lovely, healthy glow before you apply makeup. this also makes my makeup apply much easier after i apply the moisturizer! i love this lots and lots so i urge you all to try it!

    So, i appologise this blog post is really small, and i also appologise i haven't been blogging for ages!! i have got so many exams at the moment and the revision overload from my teachers is overwhelming, and so i hope you all understand, maybe after all of my exams are over, i will do a blog post a long the lines of helping with exam/school stress, let me know what you think!

    Goodbye 2014.

    This year bye far has to be one of the best. I have made so many memories, and done so much more than I've done in previous years. I started a blog. one of the best decisions i've ever made. it has opened so many doors for me, and has given me so many opportunities! In this final blog post of 2014, i will share with you some memories!


    me and kamaren (my best-friend shown in the photo's) have had about another 1000 sleepovers together, waayy to many haha. we also went to Alton Towers together for my 13th birthday and stayed there overnight, which was SUPER FUN! and i went on lots more rides which were way out of my comfort zone, (air, kam you know) we've had so many great memories this year :)









    Me and my dance girlfriends did our first ever dance show together! we all had so much fun! i cannot wait until we do our next show i am so excited! i love you all so much!












    This year i also went to France which you can read about here! it was so good! we went on a pedal boat with a slide on it! i tried lots of new food, but the only downside, was having a terrible tooth/brace ache most of the time :( but otherwise, my holiday was great!







    and i also started my blog! i love blogging so much, it really lets me share my tips about beauty and fashion for you! but i would'nt be able to make it without all of you taking your time to read it, I'm really grateful!


    And my last memory of 2014, is me making a youtube channel, which was today! i have only posted one video at the moment, but if you could watch it, like and subscribe, i would be really happy! 

    I hope everybody had a fab year and enjoyed them self, i will write another post next year haha!

    What I Got For Christmas 2014

    this year I got a lot more presents than normal which was really lovely. I am so grateful for all of the gifts I received. I will tell you my main presents and my favourite ones, because if I said them all this post would be extremely long! just a little disclaimer, I am NOT bragging, I love finding out what other people receive for inspiration or to be a bit nosey, so im sure some of you do to! : D


    one of my main gifts was this HP pavilion 15 notebook, and I haven't even had it for a week and I am already in love with it. its super fast and completely different to my other old school laptops which is great! I don't think I could be any pleaser with it! also, it comes with Beats-audio so the sound quality is amazing!
     
     
     
    I also very luckily, got a Pandora bracelet with two beautiful charms! I got a tiny little plane, and a suitcase which states ' I "heart" to travel". this is super cute and I think my mum got those charms because  my family and i do genuinely travel a lot!

     I got the naked 3 palette!! and I love it so much! the colours are so perfect and they stay on literally all day! I couldn't be any happier with it, even the brush is great!
    my new foundation is the Smashbox liquid halo in 03, this is great because it blends in perfectly, and doesn't give too much coverage which is great for my skin.
    the real techniques brushes are amazing, I cannot tell you how good they are without sounding "forced". they blend my makeup perfectly, and now I have them, im not sure how I would manage without!
    I got this benefit set which comes with, pore-fessional, benetint, they're real mascara, some eye shadows and a blush. this is perfect for overnight stays at someone else's  so you don't need to bring all of your makeup, you could just pack the box and go! I will definitely be using this a lot!

    for one of my big big presents, I got a micheal kors bag which is B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L. it is the one in the image above, but without the lock and key. be prepared to be surprised, this is my first proper hand bag :/ I know it has taken me a while but I have it and I now understand the obsession girls go through over bags haha!

    December's Beauty Favorites

    This month, i have been wearing a little more makeup, since the cold weather has drained a lot of the colour in my skin. also, instead of wearing my usual makeup, I've stepped a bit out in the open and decided to try some different products!


    The Pore-fessional by Benefit

    In my advent calender which my mum made, (you can click here to read it), inside one of the pouches, i got a miniature `The Pore-fessional. this is soo good! it really covers my pores on my upper-cheek and my t-zone! unfortunately, this primer is a little on the costly side, but it is very worth it! click here to purchase!!


    Mister Lash Booster by Givenchy Paris

    This is very good and i am in LLOOVVEE with it! it makes your lashes stronger and much more fuller! i have noticed such an big difference in my lashes! you can also use it for your eyebrows, but i haven't tried it yet, but i will soon. again, this is very pricey. i couldn't seem to find it on Boots or Superdrug, but found it on Sephora. click here to buy it!


    High Lights by Techic

    Wow, isn't this little pot of joy just amazing?! High Lights is a highlighter (hense the name) and it is probably one of my favorites this month. you can use this to highlight the brow bone, your cheeks, on your cupid's bow and even mix it with a daily moisturizer to give a healthy glow! this is super great and is very subtle. the only bad thing about this, is you really have to massage it in your skin to make it blend. suprisingly for this amazing quality, it is extreamly cheap! to be exact, it is £1.99, never would have guessed, right? you can click here to buy it.


    Thick & Fast by Soap & Glory

    Thick & Fast is one of my all time favorite mascaras. it makes your lashes look so fake but not in he tacky kind of way. they look a million times fuller and longer. i hardly notice any clumps whilst applying it! i love it so much and it will always be my favorite mascara! you can buy it here!


    The Damned Lips by Topshop

    Lastly, this is one of my favorite lipsticks. it is a lovely burgundy colour, and the more you apply, the heavier it looks which is great for day or night! it applies on so easily and the shade is perfect for my coloured skin! if you would like buy it, just click here!

    Paris Memories :(

    Ahh i've recently been thinking about my wonderful trip to Paris with my school. i went for a weekend, urgh it went waaay to quick! i made so many friends, tried some very new food, and had a BLAST! i wish i could go back again,  and re-live it all! totally recommended getting super excited if you are going or going to be going to France soon (new tongue twister). here are some photos from Paris!

    Advent Calendar

    Happy first day of December everyone! This year me and my sister are doing something different regarding Advent Calendars. Instead of only having a chocolate calendar this year - we also have another one to share between us. It will be  full with little gifts from eachother. I'm just guessing mine is probably full of makeup and food (?) haha. Our gifts are all in a little paper bag pouch with our name stamped onto it. They are all on numbered pegs hanging from a string, which is attached to a frame. This is such a cute idea for Advent Calendar next year - or maybe this year if you really want to miss a day!
